Non traditional white wedding at Core Clapton
I wanted to share this Bridal shoot I worked on a couple of months ago which was shot by photographer Genevieve at Core Clapton in London. Genevieve and 'Anemone Style' (a London - based wedding design, planning and styling studio) came up together with the shoot concept. Think authentic, modern, stylish London wedding! I really loved the initial mood boards for the shoot especially the pastel greys and bluey greys colour palette.
The woman behind 'Anemone Style' is Martha, she says: "I’ve always believed that you can create an impact and give a wedding design the wow factor without abundant decor and maximalist styling" and the same goes for your wedding makeup; using few elements which are enough to stand out.
I wanted the understated beauty of the shoot to reflect in the makeup. Keeping the skin really clean and dewy, I used a lip balm on the lips and on the top of the models cheek bones to highlight the skin to create a radiant complexion. I used the MAC Silver Pigment across the lash line at the top and bottom to create a silver eyeliner to pop against the skin, but to also tie in with the rest of the colours on the shoot.
Below I have included some other minimalist beauty looks from the runway which could inspire your makeup choice if your planning a minimal aesthetically pleasing wedding!
